Didn't want to spend a fortune for what for me, is essentially a decorative piece. Our last one was not used for heat, and this one probably just as much...I wanted one with an app though, only downside is it does not link with Alexa yet...Anyway, easy to set up the app and very user friendly.Installation, well, it is possible on your own, but I would suggest get two to lift it onto the wall bracket... especially if you have a freshly painted wall ;-) LOLThe bracket was easy to fix (I used a laser line level brought from Amazon) much easier and you don't have to drill all the holes, 5 is enough.Anyway, great fire, nice flame effects and 20 colours mixed with 5 brightness levels...More than enough and looks great too...

Fantastic, easy to fit but I did use my own screws and plugs. It’s great when you can turn it on when you are at the pub and get home with the room nice and warm

The media could not be loaded. Took this out of the box and set it up temporarily as this was my 2nd fire (diff seller & model).Glad I did as I will be facing it and building it in. No flames on 2-3 inches on the right hand side…Also backdrop is very highly coloured. Might have made a diff if I had added the crystals but was only setting up to check function

We walled mounted this fire, was easy to installYou can download a app to change the flame or turn on the heating on and the output for the heat is very warm or use the controller that comes with the fireLooks nice on a wall with TV above and value for the money

Great electric fire. Easy to install and lights up the room nicely (not exactly ‘a real’ looking flame but does the job). Also heats up a decent size room (our room is 18ft x 15ft), very quickly. Only small complaint is that the air quality after about an hour goes a bit stale / dry within the room. An integrated filter would be good.

This is a great quality item and fantastic value for money way better than some more expensive options

Ok for the money, fire effect is not like picture shown , manufacture sent me a replacement out as first one ordered had a fault on it , we will see how that one goes, to sum up if you are on a budget it looks nice but could be better.
