I originally bought this comb to help clean the area the around the eyes of my 2 shih tzus. It does it a great job. I’ve since used it to clear small pieces of debris around the mouth area, in between toes and other areas that a normal metal grooming comb misses. The comb is very well made (good grip area, teeth are very sturdy, smooth to the touch, and the end of each tooth is rounded - no snags and won’t cut/scratch the skin). The graduated length of the teeth on the outer sides makes it very safe to use it around eyes, noses, lips…. In my opinion it is worth the price. Easy to clean, run it under hot water and use a tooth brush to clean between the teeth, when needed

Works very well. I have 2 Maltese puppies who tend to get food and gunk on their mustache and beards. It is especially helpful around the eyes. Makes it very clean. It helps with tangles. Easy to grip especially when fighting with a puppy. What I like is the edges are rounded. I have one from another company and the edges are more squared and I’m always afraid I’m going to poke them in the eyes. But with this product I don’t have to worry about that. I have used the comb on the top of their heads which has longer hair, eyes, ears, beard , mustache and even my smaller puppies tail. Very useful. Highly recommend this product!

Perfect size, very well made and gentle. The tines have rounded ends and aren't pokey. Works great for removing eye secretions that harden in the puppy's fur.

This is a game changer! I swapped from using a small, comb like implement to this one. My dog has stopped flinching as this one has rounded corners, is big enough in the hand to be easily maneuvered, and does not hurt him. Also it does an excellent job of cleaning the hair around his eyes! I recommend this comb.

This item is great, it helps keep our pups check area nice and cleaned. She's part poodle and has the leaky eyes. I would highly recommend this.
