Best transition bottle

I have used it with both of my kids to transition from regular bottle to sippy bottle, it has been one of the most recommended items that little kids need, the colors are very cute, so easy to use but over time it might start leaking, but overall great

Sippy Cups

We use these cups daily for my son’s daycare sippy cup. He is able to flip the top independently. The weighted straw helped when transitioning so he is still able to get a drink when tilted at any angle. Keep the skinny brush to help clean the straw. We typically only use water in these because of the difficulty of keeping the straw clean. Overall, though I recommend these cups!

I wish I had known about these a year ago.

I would have had my son on straws a year ago. He's a few weeks from 2 years old, and because he was a bit behind in speech development, it was recommended we lose the sippy and get him on straw drinking. Problem is, he's been drinking from a bottle and sippy his whole life, and he tips up his drink, just out of habit. So, two months after I've given up possibly dehydrating my son (exaggerating; that was never a danger) by only letting him drink during supervised sessions, and enduring many fits because I wouldn't let him hold the cup, THIS MIRACLE product shows up in my recommendations on Amazon. It's simply a godsend.I don't caaaarrrrre that it takes three different tools to clean. Sponge for cup, bottle brush for lid. Special straw brush (provided) for the straw. (Which, by the by, manufacturer, can you please not bother giving me a bendy straw brush for a bendy straw? Thing is, the straw can get straight. The brush? Cannot. Fixed handle, please.) The straw brush included SUUUCKS but it works. At first, I thought, How Cool, this little bendy brush for a bendy straw...but it's TINY and hard to grip, Especially when you've got soapy hands. Also, because it is flimsy, and the straw is flimsy, things get weird. If you don't put the lid on properly, and I'm talking EXACT pressure here, it will back-fill and ooze liquid from the top of the straw. Doesn't happen all the time, but gets worse as the cup gets older. Other brands have done the same thing, so I'm used to it, and adjust accordingly. I'm not even sure it's the lid's fault. I might be overfilling. Whatever. It drips sometimes from the straw. Not often, maybe once every few days. But, in all seriousness, I am grateful for this. My toddler has already improved in his speech development because he is able to drink as he's used to, while developing the muscles in his mouth. The weighted straw allows him to lay back and drink his juice while he's listening to stories, or sucking down milk at naptime, or just tip the cup up because that's what he's done forever. There isn't just a taaaad bit of milk left in the bottom because it got caught in a pocket, because the straw reaches every bit of the inside of that cup.I love these cups. LOVE. I feel like I am winning at life every time I hand one to my son. Spill that, kid. Hide it somewhere when you're done so that I find it in two days, 'cause there's nothing in it to go sour. Challenge accepted, Mom.He still gets the last laugh, though; I have to wash it.

Best straw sippy cup I've found so far

The media could not be loaded. My daughter (10 months) loves this cup. She had a hard time with it at first because there does seem to be some resistance to the straw and it requires some strong suction to get the water up the straw. After learning to use a straw with the honey bear style cups, we came back to these and now she loves them. The force required which initially was a con is now a great thing, because she can't get too much at once and splutter as she did with the honey bear or a regular straw.I love that there is a closable cap to prevent spills, but it is a little cumbersome to open and close one handed (see video). Also, water tends to stay in the upper part of the straw where it extends past the cup, so when you open the lid a few drops will fly out. Not a big deal for us but something worth noting if you plan to use this for something other than water. It's a pretty thin plastic, but seems fairly durable. We haven't been using it consistently for long so I can't speak to durability from experience. Also, the part of the lid that slides open and closed has popped off a few times, but has been easy to pop back on.Overall a great cup and the best I've found so far, despite a few flaws.

Review after MONTHS of use.

I bought these for my son who was learning to drink from a straw and transition from sippy cups. These are very hard to drink out of IF your little one is just learning to use a straw. The Dr. Browns straw bottle that was similar is a great in between before this one. It is leak proof but still takes effort to drink. I eventually tried these again and he now wants nothing to do with any other bottle but these. He is able to get every single drop of water because of the weight which turns in all directions, whether laying down or standing. These tend to get moldy easily, but I wash them regularly in the dishwasher, or just rinse them out daily to refresh them. They leak a fair bit, but not enough for me to quit use. Just be aware of what colors you're putting in that could leak. Overall, my son loves them and so do I!

The Best Sippy Cup

These cups are a staple in our house. We've used them for both of our kids and both of them adapted well and used the cups with ease. If the lids are on properly (twisted until you hear the click), they do not leak at all and can survive the toddler "toss off the table." The weighted straw makes it SO easy for really young toddlers to drink from the cup and always get liquid up the straw. The only thing I don't like about them is the process for cleaning the straws. The straws are very narrow and wiggly so you need to use a small brush to get inside them but that negative far outweighs the benefits on these for me.

Good first cup

These have been great for our son’s first straw cup. However over time they do begin to leak and are not safe to travel with due to excessive leaking. They are great for at home, though!
