Rear Bed Step Retractable Bumper Truck Tailgate Step Compatible with Toyota Tundra 2022 2023 2024 2025 Replaces PTS30-34000 PTS3034000

After seeing these on several new trucks at the dealership, I decided I had to add one on my new Tundra. This makes stepping up into the bed SO MUCH EASIER. Install wasn’t too terrible, except the upper most bolt. It was tricky, but doable. I loosened the vertical thin metal bracket which allowed me to get the mount in place. Ratcheting wrenches are a big help with these bolts - no way I was getting an impact in that space to work on them. Step and bracket seem to be made of quality materials, but time will tell for sure. Fit and finish are top notch.

Highly recommend this step. Installed in about a half hour. Note: For easier installation remove bumper to frame rail first. 8mm wrench and remove plastic push in tab on bottom of bracket. You might need a new one. 👍👍👍👍👍

This turned out great, looks and feels just like OEM! Easy install and sturdy. Highly recommend.

Installed in about 20 minutes. Functions properly and helps a lot getting in/out or truck bed. The only thing I don't like is the alignment when in the stowed position. Looks crooked and it's millimeters away from contacting the lower part of the bumper. I rechecked my installation and it looks good. There are no adjustments. Compared to several trucks with OEM bed step and OEM alignment seems better.

$90 bucks vs Toyota quote of $491.11 "out the door" (> 80% savings) - yeah... I walked 'out the door' all right! - Now - installation is a bit tedious - one of the frame bolts is tucked back pretty good, but you can get a socket on it - also, both step bolts tighten from the top down - (can't see the bolts very good as you tighten, however, just take your time and don't cross thread) - I did manage to get a torque wrench on all of them to verify their recommended torque values - mine has a quarter inch clearance from bumper when not in use and works very well.

I spent over an hour assembling this product, only to discover that the bolt holes are smaller than the bolts, rendering it unusable. The poor finish and overall low-quality assurance are unacceptable for any product. I strongly advise against purchasing this item; it's a waste of time and money. Save yourself the frustration and look for something better.
