Hoof Hard As Nail Stregnthening Cream

I’ve been using this product since 11th June and whilst I don’t think I can contribute the improvement in my nails solely to this, it has most definitely helped.I’m just turning 50 and my nails have been in decline for a couple of years. At different points during this period my nails have been thin and splitting vertically, I’ve had to wear stick on nails or powdered barriers to offer strength and stop the splitting. However, once these were removed, it was just a cycle of despair because they’d split again.I’ve been taking collagen powder for the past 7 months which I think has definitely helped and got my nails in a position where I don’t have to have them covered. Hard as hoof is definitely helping with getting rid of the brittleness/ridges in my nails and offering strength. I haven’t had anything covering my nails in 3 weeks and although not mega strong, they aren’t splitting and breaking. I’ll definitely continue using this product.I was worried when I purchased that the tub was going to be tiny but you get a lot and a little goes a long way. I have to say that I apply this numerous times a day to keep my nails moisturised and there is still loads left so it’s value for money and smells lovely.

I have never had really good nails and they never grew long, my nails break easy, split and just do not grow much . For years I have paid for false Gel nails, obviously due to lock down I could not continue. I tend to have my hands in water all the time i.e. washing hands, cleaning and washing up etc. so they continued not to grow well, so I just cut them down all the time. I did try other products from local chemist who promised to strengthen them but no difference at all. I purchased this product 14th Feb this year after reading good reviews and thought I would give it a go and it is at a good price (if it works). Since applying this product mostly every day and as much as I can (each days varies), my nails are now growing. They are not long yet but to me a little length over the fingers is long for me but they are strong and healthy. I am so excited to see what they will be like in a few more weeks/months. I don't think I will ever have gel nails again. The cream smells lovely and the nails glow when applying, they soak up the cream really quickly. Keep applying as often as you can, you will not be disappointed. This is the first review I have ever written, I just want to tell everyone what a great product this is and 'it does what it says on the tin' as they say.

I've been using this everyday for 3 months now and there is a big difference in the strength of my nails. They no longer flake off into layers or split along the ridges (although the ridges are still there). My nails are actually presentable for the first time in years, I even had to file them because they were getting too long for me!The cream is a little pricey but as you only need a tiny bit at a time it's worth it.

Ive never had strong nails They were flaky, thin and generally very poor. Made even worse by having gel nails for too long. I am on my second pot of Hard As Hoof and my nails have improved beyond belief This is not an overnight fix but with patience I have the nails I always wanted. Long and very strong. Love it

Expensive & made little difference if any.

I’ve never had good nails always brittle, flaky and splitting but after using this for a week I could see a huge difference, still using it a month later with opi nail envy and for the 1st time in my life I’ve got strong long nails. I’m in love with this stuff, absolute miracle worker and I’ve tried masses of different nail strengthening products over the years

Awful….made my weak and splitting/breaking nails even weaker! Very dissapointing

PROS- Smells wonderful- Hydrates top layers of the nails- Adds flexibility to nails- Adds nutrients during nail growth for long term strong healthy nails- Absorbs quickly- Leaves skin soft- No greasy residueCONS- None unless you believe that this will solve all your nail problems.Strong nails are hydrated and flexible.Water also makes nails flexible, but in a bad way that causes a lack of hydration.Peeling nails are caused by a lack of hydration.This product adds hydration to the top layers and nutrients as the nail grows for long term healthy strong nails.I noted one image review has an infection - This is not due to the product, this is due to rubbing the product upwards into an cut cuticle. I noticed another image review saying it doesnt work with an image of uneven uncut nails that peeling continues upwards. This will not stick your peeling layers together.This is a hydration mix for cuticles and nails. The consistency does soak into the first few layers of the nail and the cuticle. It contains some of the essentials to condition your nails AS THEY GROW. Massaging downwards from your cuticle to the nail tips will add nutrients for strong healthy nails as they grow. This is the nail benefit of the product and it does this very well. Its unusual consistency makes it one of my favs.How to grow your false nails out / have a week off.1. Have the false nails removed professionally or use soak - do not peel them off.2. If your nails are short and damaged. Using a fine nail file / glass nail file / square block 4 way buffer/ sharp nail clippers - shape them straight across with smooth edges (squoval). Ideally removing all the bad peeling at the tip.3. With a square block 4 way buffer to smooth out a LITTLE (2 or 3). Do not over buff to perfection, just so there are no really bad layers that can catch or have dirt and food that can get caught in between the layers.4. Add a small amount of HARD AS HOOF and rub it into the nail and cuticle area - KEEP downwards if your cuticles are in poor condition (and really you should anyway).5. Using the 4 buff (or a suede nail polisher is best) buff the nail and the HARD AS HOOF into the nail.6. Buy some VASELINE intensive care with keratin and keep it by the sink. Use this every single time you get your hands wet.7. Use the HARD AS HOOF at least 3 times a day - Vaseline cream can be used after.
