This is one of the most enjoyable and lovely art sets I have ever seen. Got it as an activity to do with my 10 and 12 year old grandkids, but grandma and grandpa have loved doing these too. The colors are vibrant, and the tips of the markers are thin enough to get into the intricate crevices of the drawings. While the item description only mentions one set of 8 markers, the box actually includes 2 sets of pens.The finished product is truly good looking. The coasters absorb water quickly if you put an icy, “sweaty” drink on them.I have already recommended this set to several friends, as fun activities to do with their kids or grandkids, as well as in groups such as church or school groups. Highly satisfying to be able to take home as nice a coaster as these are. The fact that it comes with 2 sets of pens (16 pens total) makes it even more convenient for doing this as a group activity.Enthusiastically recommended!

I bought this for a little family reunion we had this summer and it ended up being such a great, great way to visit with one another and be creative together! Each of the ladies thanked me for thinking of this project and we each got to take one home when we went our own ways after our weekend together. A nice Memento and a great memory. I highly recommend these as a group activity or even just for yourself on a rainy day. It was very relaxing and a good project that was actually a quality item. I did add some of my own pens to the pens that come with the product just to add a little more color variation. But everything that came in the box was in good shape and the pins worked well! I do recommend you get a spray acrylic to seal them when you're done to preserve product.

I had wanted a fun and functional coloring project, and this fits the bill! The kit has everything you need to create beautiful mandala coasters, and each design is different. My only dislikes are a few of the markers seem to be dried out, but an easy fix with some extra fine line Sharpie markers and the cork backings are a little thin for my liking. All in all, a great project that you can use on a daily basis.

Although I can't attest to how well these will hold up to having condensed water from cold cans sitting on them, I will say that they have been a lot of relaxing fun to work on.
