Great Conversation Starters
This is a brilliant idea! For those lulls in family dinners or when you're sitting around waiting for dinner...whatever the case may be, this is a great tool to get the conversation going again! We have everyone from octogenarians to early teens in our family and we're together a lot. We play a lot of games, but this "game" is different in the sense that you get to learn things you may have otherwise never known about your family and friends. I was specifically looking for something like this because as my parents age, I realize there are still things I want to know about them and I don't always know exactly what it is that I want to know. This game fixes that! Age appropriate for the whole gang and easy to play. Definitely recommend.

I actually liked the topcs and the cube better in the Table Topics set. It definately got everyone discussing lots of things.

Great family game
I was a little unsure about this game when I bought it was a Christmas gift for my kids. We played it together the other day and loved it. We brought it on vacation to play with extended family and everyone enjoyed playing.

Excellent Conversation Cards
My wife is a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice so she's writing this review. Therapists always encourage families to talk more but it can be hard to get meaningful conversations started. The cards in this deck are thoughtfully designed by a therapist familiar with important family topics. The cards cover a broad variety of issues. They are clear and straightforward and thought provoking without being too emotionally demanding. These cards would be a useful adjunct for family therapists to use in session or as a homework exercise. They would also be nice for families to keep on their kitchen table or in the family room as a way to get interesting discussions started when everyone is hanging out together. What a great alternative to watching TV or playing video games!
