We have tacos every week, using beef, turkey or chicken. I really like the flavor of this McCormick taco seasoning. I had been using the individual taco seasoning packets, which are perfect for one pound batches. However, recently I started making varying batch sizes (like 3/4 lb or 1.5 lb), making the individual packets cumbersome to use. This 8.5 oz container works great for any size batch; simply use 3 tablespoons per pound and adjust as needed. The lid opens on 2 sides. The one side allows sprinkling of the seasoning; the other side allows for a small spoon. Interestingly, the spoon opening is not large enough for a tablespoon, which is likely the most common measurement used (but I'm not going to dock a star for that). I simply remove the lid when dispensing if need be. This seasoning is packaged in the USA.

Favorite new seasoning. Isn't available in the grocery stores in my area. It's called taco seasoning, but I use it as all purpose seasoning it's good on just about everything especially eggs.

Flavor, smell, and ingredients!

This is a great option for tacos because it’s more affordable than buying those little packets and it creates less waste. It has the instructions on the back so need to guess the measurements needed. As far as the sodium content goes I’m not eating tacos to be healthy…. :)
