Good value and nice flavor
I recommend this tea based on the following:1. Arrived quickly and packaged well.2. Nicely pressed tea cake.3. Tea has a pleasant yet bold earthy taste; the taste is somewhat woody.4. The smell of the tea cake is similar to the taste. It's fresh and not musty at all.5. The tea has a nice color.6. I have got about six maybe more steeps per serving. The first steep is one minute; adding a minute for each steep.7. Overall, great tea for what you pay for. However, I was little disappointed that:1. The description of the tea indicates aged Puerh Tea but the box was stamped 20202. The description of the tea states organic. No where on the box does the word organic appear in English or Chinese.

Cake Tea Puuer
These teas are my favorite. Multiple steeps from 10gms. Great flavor and excellent for your diigestive tract. This particular cake is 11 years old and is made ripe, meaning they ferment it some before caking. Raw they pack it up and let it ferment in the cake form. These teas cost up to $500 a kg which makes this one about $90 kg. Its like wine so taste is personal but I have had other Puuer teas and they tend to be very subtley different. I reccomend this tea and will try again. Perhaps a different year as 2007 there was massive overproduction and reduction in quality. This has been corrected but a 4 or 5 year old RIPE pressed is what I will try next.

ZERO FLAVOR - May Have Dye
This tea is like drinking stale water. The only flavor I get is a VERY VERY faint after taste reminiscent of a mild black tea, but you really have to try to even notice it.I've tried 30 second brew times, I've tried 5 minute brew times. I've tried 2 grams / cup. I've tried 5 grams / cup.No matter what it comes out the same.NO FLAVOR.This stuff is horrendous. I'm not sure it's even tea. The coloration of it also looks a bit off and my suspicion is that it may have some sort of dye in it to make it appear to be of a higher quality. At best this stuff is flavorless, at worst I have no idea what I am drinking.

Rich and flavorful
This is my first purchase of a Puer tea, after reading Lisa See’s “The tea girl of hummingbird lane.” I think I hit the jackpot with this batch of “ripe” tea. The first flush I felt “trippy,” and wondered how it was cured. However, the next batch was just calming. But the FLAVOR is unbelievable. I’ve never tasted tea like this. My tea is always too weak. This tiny bit of tea made the most flavorful tea I have experienced. I will buy more no doubt, and savor what I do have. Who knew you could ferment tea leaves! Definitely adding it to my list of fermented products I am adding for my health and longevity. Thank you!
