Product works beautifully on my Audi A1 MK2! only issues I've noticed is sometimes the fire stick doesnt get recognised making you have to replug in again and again sometimes which is a pain. The other issue i noticed is if i got a film on then something triggers my parking sensors it will go black screen when going back to the apple carplay

Just plug n play works great actually didn’t need my AIcarplay box in the end so may send it back

Great for long car journeys. Super easy and straightforward to set up and it makes a long trip bearable as my son can watch shows in the back seat.

I have just received my carlinkit firedrive and I bought a firestick for it, I plugged it in first time today and used it and set the stick up on it, then turned the van off and went to work, I come out and started the van, when it loads up I click on apple carplay on the screen and it just comes up with a frozen screen ! Has anybody else had this issue and how to resolve it ?

This is such a great way of being able to have some entertainment in the car, especially for the younder ones, when on long journeys. Pay note that this DOES NOT come with the fire stick, you have to use one you already have and connect to this device which then enables a connection onto car system. As soon as i connected it it automatically went into fire tv mode. You will also need your remote and a wifi connection to fully benefit from this system. Its a good option but i imagine there are simpler ways of getting entertainmemt in car so exploring those options. Otherwise a simple set up and works well
