The bottle truly keeps water cold for days. Ice still hadn't completely melted after 24 hours, there was about half the bottle still with ice. Design is flawless, I love that the bottle matches the lid, and the color of the bottle is beautiful. The lid fits perfectly and doesn't cause any leakage, the bottle is truly spill-proof.

I was so excited to get the Hydro Flask with the wide flex straw cap—it’s absolutely stunning, and the color alone makes me want to keep it out on my desk all day. It’s made drinking more water such a breeze, and I love how cold it keeps my drinks.That said, I did notice a few issues pretty early on. The straw and cap started acting up after just a few uses. Also, if the bottle tips over, it can leak at times—so I’ve learned the hard way not to toss it in my bag without double-checking the seal. 😅Still, it’s a solid bottle and I used it everyday until I got the other version. Just be aware of the quirks if you’re considering this particular lid style!

This was a splurge for me but it was sooo worth it! It’s leak-proof, indeed. I love the design on the lid that allows the removal of parts with ease to wash and prevent mold from growing. Super simple assembly that works very well. I use it for my daily smoothies that I take work. It keeps it cold for nearly the entire work day.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I carry a bottle of water everywhere and it needs to be kept cold. This Hydro Flask works perfectly for me. I fill it each morning with a little ice and water, and leave it to chill in the fridge until I'm ready to leave the house. The straw can be pushed closed, and it does so with a click so you know there won't be a leak if the bottle tips. It also fits well in the bottle holder I carry on my shoulder. I got mine in the color "agave," which is a beautiful soft grey-green.
