I got these with the intention of sprinkling them onto my cereal to make it more healthy and filling but I haven’t been able to stop snacking on them just as they are!They are perfect for just grabbing a little pinch here and there when ever you fancy a nibble and they are a lot healthier than crisps or chocolate.Almonds are not my favourite nut… they taste a bit bland and have a sort of soft, milky, bitty texture to them but they are supposed to be good for you and are still very morish!The packaging did have some weird foreign written badges on it which was a bit annoying as there was no obvious English translation to it even though everything else is in English!The film thats under the lid also didn’t tear off neatly in one go and seemed a bit cheap.I think these nuts are ok for the price (£5.99).

I use this in salads , it enhances it.

I had the opportunity to review these for the Vine Programme, and was more impressed than I expected.What you are getting is slivers of skinned almonds. They taste pretty good, though they are quite soft and not crunchy.As a snack I think I still prefer the whole nut.I would personally use these as a visually attractive topping for baking or deserts.At the price this is a decent buy - I don't think you'll be disappointed.

It can be difficult to blanch almonds yourself when preparing special dishes so I like that this is ready done for you. Chopping isn't as difficult but it's a lot of prep that takes time and this saves that time so you can focus on other stuff. Great as a garnis or mixed through Indian desserts like ras malai. Tastes fresh though harder to keep fresh if you don't use all of it in one go. The container is plastic and there's a plastic seal to maintain freshness when new but you will need to transfer these into an airtight container because there's no rubber seal on the packaging it comes with so after hippo open the seal I'm not sure how fresh it will stay over time. Overall pretty good and handy!

You get quite a lot of Almonds for the price here as they are not cheap as a rule. Chopped as they are makes them handy to eat, but they do taste a little "waxy" and I am not sure that I don't actually miss the skins and the crunch of a whole nut. I added some salt which made them a little more tastier.This is definitely a convenient way to grab a handful of a snack but I am not convinced taste wise - I think that might be down to personal preference so I think at this price and with that in mind, it's definitely worth giving them a go as I am sure lots of people will love this product.
