Be wary of publisher on any cheap reprints

The book I recieved was a very poorly formatted reprint (photocopy) of the original text. Unlike the listing, actually published by Important Books in 2012, my copy has 1/3 of each page blank with text so small one needs a magnifying glass to read. Be particular as to who is publishing and that they use a bare minimum of formatting to scale to each printed page. Images are blurry with comments unreadable. Along with handwritten notes on original copies that the publisher took no action to remove. I could have done better with manual photocopying in a library with white out corrections. I will search for a more appropriate readable copy from a legitimate publisher. The information regarding Tesla's work is amazing. All else is a fail.

A captivating read.......

Nicola Tesla was a brilliant scientist, visonary, and humanitarian. Had he the necessary financial backing, we would all be enjoying free wireless electricity. It is a travesty that Nicola Tesla is not mentioned in our history books. The book is exceptional, like the man himself.

but haven't found a good buy, or a good time to get it

I've really wanted this book for a long time, but haven't found a good buy, or a good time to get it. I'm glad I finally did! Great detail, and very interesting. Thanks so much, Dave (in Colorado)

great book

Very informative, but do not look for any mention of radio contact from aliens or any of the discoveries Tesla made other than lab entries and new devices with which he experimented. It does go into his tuned telephony circuitry. This is a good read for anyone wanting details of the 1899 Colorado Springs experimentation.

Excellent reading

Tesla was a man ahead of his time, and in my estimation probably more important to society than most people understand. he was way ahead of his time, and the Colorado Springs Notes text clearly outline how far ahead he was. The text is not for those who are seeking a casual read, but more for anyone who is curious about the man and his works. The text is a joy to discover page after page.

Great for people who understand electronics

Great for people who understand electronics. This might be a little intimidating for someone looking for an entry level Tesla book.

Awesome

A prolific period for Nikola Tesla. It is very descriptor and full of math equations, but beneficial even for a novice curious about him.

Unique and Indispensable

Nikola Tesla was apparently considered along with Thomas Edison for sharing the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1915; both men had such mutual bad feelings that both stated if the other were nominated they would not share the prize, so neither was awarded the Nobel Prize. This book about Colorado Springs Colorado experiments by Nikola Tesla hints at why Tesla was considered for the Nobel Prize. This work is above and beyond Tesla's work on alternating current (AC) power transmission that triumphed over Edison's direct current (DC) power transmission products, cf the competition to transmit hydroelectric generated electricity from Niagara Falls to Buffalo NY in the mid 1890s. The note books is unique, the exposition by and large clear, enough information is given for others to independently duplicate experiments and measurements.
