After trying a couple other phone holders, I gave this one a go and glad I did. It does fit snuggly into the cup holder and is stable. I can put various sized cups/drinks below the phone which is nice. I do have a large 40 oz water bottle (size of a stanley) and although it does fit, I have to adjust the phone holder angle to get it out. Smaller bottles are no issue however. I just put my larger one in the second holder I'm not using. I used the phone holder on a road trip and was quite pleased with the ease of use and how it sat in relation to my vision and using a map app while driving. I felt like my phone was secure. I had somone else drive the car and use it as well. Their phone which was slightly smaller than mine was stable and secure as well. I noticed some people mentioned their phone shaking while driving. I didn't find this to be an issue. Granted I was not off roading, but I doubt many of us will be. General city/rural/interstate roads will not faze the over all stability or function. Best of all there's no sticky stuff on your dash, no falling off the windshield, or broken air vent blades.

After an idiot hit, ran, totaled my paid for, never had an issue 2013 Honda Fit that had many cupholders, I had to buy a car I don't want. The new one has only 2 cupholders and the cabin is not spacious. This dual function cupholder filled my needs well and holds my coffee thermos perfectly. I swapped the phone holder out for a magnetic one from another sticky holder and made it perfect. Excellent value and no more sticky things to keep falling off the dash.

Overall great for the price. I have one of the bigger/heavier iPhones so wasn’t expecting much, but after two weeks of use it’s been solid and hasn’t budged an inch. I’ll update this after a month to see if the weight is affecting the build quality. Only had one issue of the base coming out of the cupholder, but it was mostly my issue.So far so good!

Works great, I’ve had mine for over two years and I’ve just gifted this to a friend. Great quality, wonderful for ease of use with phone and GPS. The best thing is it fits in your cupholder and you still have use of your cupholder.

The button that is supposed to allow the sides to expand wider does not work. My phone only squeezes into the holder by a lot of effort and won’t fully fit in the holder.
