* PhysicalThis watch has aesthetically pleasing colours and Danish design and with Japanese quartz movement. It's inspired by the snow and sea ice in the area. I have not heard of this company before, but they make lots of watches as listed in the Amazon databases. I chose this as my other watch, which I will not name, became unreliable outside its guarantee period. So I chose my watch based on what it looks like and under a couple of hundred quid price. It comes in a glass protector and soft packing in a biggish box to protect itself. The watch in its self heavier than it looks. But this is a design feature, not a detriment. The price is a great saving and is another reason why I bought this watch. The strap is a perfect fit and does not require manipulation to adjust it. This watch has a custom battery to fit into this case. Hope this when required to change is not an issue to find and repair?* UpdateThe battery lasted for two years. What's not to like?* Update as of 20 November 2024My watch is still working and doing a great job of keeping accurate time. No scratching is observable on the watch's face. A few months ago, however, the watch started losing time. I took it to the jewellers. The watch battery was the fault. Its fitting cost £15. Which is acceptable for a watch battery that lasts two years.

As the other views mention, this watch looks far better in the flesh than Amazon's pictures. I have very girly wrists so didn't want a huge watch - many 'normal sized' watches just look ridiculous on me. The Bering is not too big and not too small - exactly what I was after.I've had this watch for a few weeks now, wearing it every day, and so far it still looks like new. There are no scratches or marks on the watch face or bracelet.There are two downsides to this watch, although just minor niggles rather than deal-breakers. Firstly, although the Bering seems very good quality and has a definite premium feel, it doesn't feel as heavy and durable as another Seiko watch I ordered. The Bering is smaller and lighter than the Seiko, which some might see as a positive. Secondly, after taking some links out of the bracelet, I can either get a fit that is slightly too loose on my wrist, or slightly too tight. I guess that's just look of the draw though - most people it should fit just fine.Overall, I'm extremely happy with this watch .I ordered a few watches online but sent them all back and kept this one.

Nice watch looks good.very pleased with purchase,as others have said the day and month dials are tiny so you need bloody good eyesight to read the correct date.As for size of bracelet I don't think I have big wrists just 8inch circumference.the watch fitted me perfect without taking links out.the previous watches I have had all had to have links removed.whould have given it 5 stars but dropped one star on account of being greedy on size of bracelet.

I took it to a jewellers to take a link out and they could no get one out, it says water resistant to 50 meters but inside the box it says 5 atm rain and shower proof and it comes in a heavy glass container why?

Bought first one which stopped working after a month, sent for a replacement no problem got replacement within a few days , the second watch in the first week lost time by 1/2 hr I don't wear it all the time as have a few watches and rotate so the next time I put it on lost time very disappointed in witch should be a good watch which isn't cheap ?

We were looking for a good quality watch for my son's birthday, we wanted it to look contemporary but not over the top. The watch needed to be a quality watch within our budget and as my son has slim wrists it needed to be of a size that did not overpower. This one fitted the bill, smart and classy and not overstated.
