AQA Physics A Level Revision Guide *new spec*
Remember: this is a revision guide and not a textbook, so it is not meant to be super comprehensive.Provided that you have learnt the content in some way (e.g. in class or from textbook self-study) then this guide is perhaps all you will need for revision because it recaps everything in enough detail. It could even work well for if you missed a lesson and wanted to catch up.This is suitable for AQA Physics A and probably not for other exam boards. If you were sceptical about purchasing this - don't be! CGP books for A Level are much better than they are for GCSE. Having said that, only get this book if you are planning to do the whole 2years of Physics because it contains AS and A Level. If you just want AS, CGP has that guide here on Amazon for cheaper.

Good, albeit sometimes brief
Very useful resource, some good and clear explanations, and a little bit of humour, which you've got to appreciate when you're dealing with exam stress. I would say that you should use more than just this book when revising as it's a little bit too brief in places, cross referencing with the full big textbook is what I've done, and its been useful. This is really just giving you the basic concept of physics, and exam papers are much more complex than this book implies. Use this to introduce yourself to the subject, then find another book to step it up a bit.

Summarises A-Level Physics well
Summarises the whole of A-Level physics and even has the option topics at the end.The questions at the end of each sub topic help to check your understanding but are not near the standard of actual exam questions. It is a good way to start your revision and cover everything in a short space of time before moving on to other sources.Do not base your entire revision plan from this book as it does not go into enough depth.

It's the best revision guide I have found for AQA Physics A ...
It's the best revision guide I have found for AQA Physics A Level. It condenses the information you would typically get from a textbook into easily readable chuncks while still covering the entire spec. This book is excellent as it has the option section (8-12) of the course (which the textbook doesn't have). This proves super useful if you run out of lesson time, or your teachers a bit rubbish, or you missed a few days because you have the content already there for you. There are practice questions at the bottom of each page to help retain the information. However this isn't a workbook, it's a study guide, so I would strongly suggest question practice outside of this book. (But don't buy a workbook - there all shocking (Print questions instead))Real quick - all of the other books are really bad, don't waste ur money buying another book, especially the letts workbooks

A must for all students
I tutor a level physics and I think this is a must for all students. It won't help you learn a topic from scratch but it is an excellent aid to help you remember core information and to remind you of all the information you will be required to know for the exams!

Great book. Recommended for AQA Chemistry A Level students.
Great book. The exercises really help and it's highly recommended for all school children studying this exam board at A Level. It's a hefty book to bring in everyday to school, so make sure you have a good backpack to accompany this.

Taught me physics when my teacher couldn't
Great book, managed to get an A in Physics despite having a subpar teacher. Would recommend.
