We bought two of these to use in the two bathrooms in our house. We bought one in stainless steel finish to match the sink faucet in my bathroom, and one with the matte black finish, which is a great match for the oil-rubbed bronze faucet in my wife's bathroom. We both absolutely LOVE these, and are wishing that we had bought them sooner. These replaced our two old-design bathroom sink stoppers, the kind that have a long, white plastic part that goes down the drain and that connects to a pull-rod mechanism that is on top of the faucet (that opens and closes the stopper) that is found on all older bathroom sink faucets. These new stoppers are SO MUCH BETTER! One of our old bathroom sink stoppers was connected to its controlling pull-rod and therefore couldn't be removed easily, so I had to wrestle it out of the sink with a pair of pliars in order to remove it. I did eventually get it loose, and a piece of the old stopper's plastic part broke off and was flushed down the drain. Once I removed the old stoppers, the water in our sinks was already flowing a lot more freely, with no water backing up in the sink like before.Before we got these new stoppers (which look beautiful, by the way), our sinks would drain very slowly, and they often got clogged up. In fact, we've had numerous different plumbers out over the years to fix these sinks when they got stopped up, and the plumbers all thought there was something wrong with our old drainage pipes or sewer lines (as it turns out, there wasn't: We just needed new sink stoppers, ones with a newer design that were free-flowing.) And the seal of these new stoppers is excellent, thanks to the silicone gaskets that come with them. And these stoppers are so easy to install: just push them snugly in place in your sink's drain, right on top of the old sink drain hold (see the drainage hole measurement range in the product description, but I'm guessing that these would fit just about any bathroom sink.)This stopper catches loose hairs in its basket that can be easily removed, emptied and cleaned out by unscrewing the stopper part (and then screwing it back in after cleaning it out--So quick and easy.) This product is high-quality, and is extremely well-designed. We expect these stoppers to last for a very long time. I like the fact that this stopper comes in four different finishes, so one of those finishes is sure to match the faucet in your bathroom. We highly recommend these. We love them so much that a 5-star rating just doesn't seem like enough stars for this outstanding product. And I don't believe that I have ever felt that way about any other product I have ever bought. It's the best!

This thing is AMAZING. If you find yourself with a broken drain stopper, please buy this. It works so well and so easy, just pop it in the hole and it's done. In fact I have a double sink and it looked so much better than the other one that I bought a second one and purposely BROKE the other one, which was surprisingly very hard to do. As often as those things seem to break on their own, but I was determined (probably a way to just unhook it under the sink but I couldn't find it) so I persisted til I broke the other one so I could plop in my new shiny one. The push button to stop/stop the water filling the sink works fantastic and much easier than the typical pull up down lever that you usually use. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Used this to replace missing drain stopper in Bathroom sink. This fit perfectly! Gasket made it snug at drain and it works perfectly too. Yes, it holds water in sink when closed and freely allows water to drain when open. It is heavier than I thought it would be (never know when buying some things online). It’s been used for a few months and all good. Overall excellent quality and lifts out easily to clean when needed. I’m actually impressed with this little gem. Wishing they had a bronze color one because that is what I need in the other bathroom.

This product is the perfect replacement for our old bathroom sink drain. So much easier to remove and clean when the sink gets clogged. When you're done, you simply just pop it right back in again. We liked it so much, we purchased a couple more for our other bathrooms. It has a nice clean finish and matches our faucet perfectly. The onlyreason why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is because we noticed a very slow tiny leak when the drain is closed. I think it's because it's hard to get it completely flush and flat with the drain hole. Visually, it's not noticeable but you can hear it leaking. It's not such a big deal to us as we never have any reason to fill the bathroom sink withwater. The primary reason we purchased this is for the easy convenient clean up of the occasional clogged sink. And it also looks a lot nicer than our old sink drain.

The regular drain stopper kept coming off the stem but this one fit perfectly and if any water is left on the drain, just pick it up and the water rolls off. I am very happy with this stopper and it arrived fast and is not that expensive.

An easy replacement for a broken pop-up stopper. It also covers a stained or pitted drain flange and gives the sink a clean look. Yes, it holds a small puddle of water, as some have said in their reviews, because you're stacking flanges but just pop it out for a second and drop it back in if this bothers you.

First of all, a perfect match for matte black faucet. It fit perfectly in the drain. Easy installation. So far, catches hair well. I love the drain stopper feature - just a little push and the drain is closed. Overall great quality.

I had a plastic version of this for about a year but the chromed plastic started to peel and actually I got a nasty cut from a piece sticking up. So I looked for a full metal version and came across this one.It's almost perfect in that it looks great, the pop up works perfect but... The silicone seal that is suppose to hold it in the drain (like an O-ring with a lip on it) is too small to properly grip in my drain and because of this the whole thing will lift up over time and leave a small gap between the metal rim and the sink drain, it's a small gap but mars an otherwise perfect product. I think I will figure out a solution (maybe using silicone to hold it down?!?) but for now I need to push it back down almost every day. Mind you it does not lift a lot but enough to slide a penny under the rim and that bugs me.
