PaxanpaxPLD001 Cutlery Basket Fits Bosch/Hotpoint/Neff/Siemens/Smeg Dishwasher grey

Not happy with this as isn't universal; doesn't fit my Hotpoint. It has a flat base so unable to slot it over the spikes of the dishwasher, therefore I've had to lie the spikes flat and sit it on top. Not very stable and has to sit at the back rather than the front. Will have to replace shortly. The basket strong in itself, it just doesn't fit all the makes, as stated.

There are no cut outs in this to sit over the prongs that you slot your plates into, the picture is misleading because it looks like it does. This now takes up half of the bottom rack because it has to sit in the middle.

this product is very sturdy, but that means once you get the handle on, it would take a wrench to get it back off again! The so called slots for separting cutlery are soooo small they don`t even take a teaspoon. Then the fact that it has a flat base, which means it has to sit horizontally, taking up masses of room, and then it falls over because it doesn`t have a gap to fit over the plate rack spikes. All in all whoever designed this has never used a dishwasher.

Our latest dishwasher didn't come with a cutlery basket but an extra shelf to put the cutlery on where it never got clean.This basket does the trick but I nocked a few stars off because the holes on the side are quite big and sometimes the handle of a spoon will stick out the side and jam the door of the dishwasher if you're not careful.But still better results than using that extra pesky shelf!

Bought it as it’s supposed be be a universal fit, it’s not. It needs the gaps in the basket to slot over the plate holder spike bits (something that all of my previous dishwashers had). We have a Hotpoint dishwasher. Probably should have studied the photo better, but assumed they would have developed a universal fit somehow… Bit of a waste of money as we had to open the internal bag to test it and then couldn’t return once opened.
