Speed is what this drive supplies
This drive is super fast, even with fairly large amounts of data, and makes a great drive for installing operating systems just because of its speed. Was reasonable value for money at the time. It gets a little warm to touch, not hot, in use.

Good speed
Very impressive load speed, not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I use as a backup for MP4 Flac music files, and can recommend.

Failed losing data
This memory stick worked as advertised and all seemed OK, but just three months after buying it and only having used no more than a quarter of its memory it failed - wiping everything on it. It's now costing me a small fortune to have the data recovered. I won't buy this make again.

I FOUND THE FIX, only took me a month.
So, to fix this, apparently, this problem only occurs in some machines (in some windows builds I am guessing), you need to download JetFlash Online Recovery, press download, and select the "Jeflash Series" version. Open up the software, and plug in any 900 series (I know that it at least works on 920 and 930C models) Transcend USB drive. Follow on-screen instructions to perform the recovery, after the first run, you need to perform the recovery again (don't know why, so don't ask me). Then, it would act just like any USB and you can do whatever you like to it. Happy days!It took a lot of time to work this out, especially without the help of Transcend technical support since they did not respond, so please leave a like so I know I helped someone! The specifications of this driveWrite12GB (or at least 10GB) of accelerated 400MB/s write (It could be DRAM but I think it is just SLC write caching)Consistent 80MB/s write when the 10GB cache runs out20MB/s random writeReadConsistent 400MB/s (advertised as 420MB/s) throughout20MB/s random readCapacityTranscend always skimps out a bit, it has 123,700,000,000 bytes, not the 128GB promised.GOD, if it was like that out of the box, I would have given, 5 stars. Sadly though, Transcend technical support did not even reply to my requests...Build quality is good, and small, considering it is basically an SSD wrapped in a tiny USB form factor.
