A Simple Habit That’s Become a Daily Joy
I’ve tried to keep journals before, but I always fell off track, until this one. It’s simple, approachable, and incredibly easy to keep up with. Just a few lines a day is all it takes, and that’s made all the difference.Whether I jot down a memory, something funny the kids said, or a little moment of gratitude, this journal has become a cherished part of my routine. The quality is excellent, sturdy cover, smooth pages, and it feels like something that will last through all five years and beyond. As long as I can keep my puppy from chewing on it (see attached picture!)The concept is brilliant, and it would make a thoughtful gift for anyone, especially those who want to capture the beauty in everyday life but don’t have time for long journaling sessions. You truly can’t put a price on memories, and for what it costs, this journal is an incredible value. Highly recommend!

Just bought my third one! (Pics included.)
I've seen some questions and thought that after nearly 10 years of daily use, I would be qualified to give a review on this. I just purchased my third—so yes, I am about to start year 11 in January of 2025!Pros:- Compact- Pretty solid binding (see below about how I push my luck, though)- Good paper with no bleed-through- Bookmark stays attached to binding- Will last a long time- Short entry space discourages navel-gazing- Parallel date format allows you to easily see what you were doing on the same date last year etc.- It's still in print so I can keep getting the same book every five years- Sticker peels off easily so farCons:- Short entry space can be too short some days- My second book's title was printed a bit crooked on the cover and spine- A little bit of cracking toward the end of the year (book is handled a LOT). *Keep in mind that I also keep a pen in there and use a rubber band around it to keep it handy, so that contributes to the strain.*- Slight fading of gold lettering toward the end (see above)- Not good for people with large handwriting- 'Line a Day' is not so accurate as is 'Inch a Day'The attached pictures show the effects of wear and tear over the years. Even then, the pages remain sewn in firmly and I’m happy to buy this again and again.

Perfect!
I absolutely love this journal. The color is so gorgeous and I love the gold edged pages. Every page is a day of the year so there are 365+ pages and it is thick! Thankfully it comes with a fixed bookmark to keep your place. There are 5 entries on every page, one for each year, with 20_ _ so you can fill in the years yourself. If you don't want to use it now, you don't have to worry about getting a new one because the dates are off. There are six line spaces in each entry but they are very thin so if you have bigger handwriting, like me, you just have to write smaller. It is more room than I was expecting honestly. Because it is July, I am taking an idea from another reviewer of writing my entries for the rest of this year on the top of the page. That way I can start fresh at the beginning of the year without leaving a blank space where the beginning of 2015 should have been. There are three pages in the back marked "Dates to Remember", but other than that, the rest of the pages are just the entries.I would also like to comment on a few things other reviewers have said --Firstly, the sticker on the back of the book. I had absolutely no issues with getting the sticker off. It came off in one piece and didn't leave behind any residue.Secondly, the size. If you read the description about this journal, it states that it is 4 x 6.5 inches. So basically, it is about the size of your usual run-of-the-mill picture. I definitely do not think it is too small. It is a five year journal that you are supposed to write in every day, so if you have to carry it with you every day, might as well make the size convenient, right? And if it was larger, it would give you more room to write which would defeat the purpose of one line a day. Finally, the binding and pages. I will agree on this. It is VERY stiff. But like any book, I am sure it will wear with time. Definitely not a deal breaker.Overall, would recommend. Especially for people who are interested in journaling, but do not want to write a full on entry every day.

Cataloging my life 1 sentence at a time has been pure joy
I've been writing 1 sentence a day for 9 years. I'd recommend this practice to anyone. Gratitude is a persistent force despite changes in where you live, who you share your life with and what happens each day. This journal has helped me capture those essential moments.

Cool little book
Update: still love this book but after only couple days the good writing on the front is coming off, just by softly rubbing it… first I was like how?! Then I rubbed my finger over it and it just comes off.Very cute. Excited to write in it daily and seeing how the years will differ…. Love that idea to sum up your day and emotions and memories.
