Orbit 58067n Polymer Hose Caps 3-Pack (6 Total caps)…

Ordered to cap the drain port on my hot tub. The shut off would no longer close completely and we were very slowly losing water and causing a wet spot on the patio. The cap made a nice tight seal and saved me from having to replace the shut off valve for the time being.

I used these caps on a wye attached to my outdoor garden hose. I had a little trouble threading one of them on but they seem to be working as designed.

I bought these as a replacement for the caps that came with my Orbit 58872n, but they seem to be suffering from the same problem:When the unit shuts off, it does do suddenly, with an audible "thunk". That sound is the water placing an enormous amount of pressure on the rest of the unit as the flow is arrested. The weak link in this otherwise solid system are these plastic caps which seal the unused hose bibs. Over time, they start to crack and leak as a result of this daily hammering combined with the fact that the plastic gets brittle in the sun.Now, thankfully, these are relatively inexpensive replacements, but this problem is destined to keep happening about twice a summer for me. Maybe offering stronger caps would solve this for me.These may work fine for you, I just wanted to share my experience.

It was easy to install and the right part

It's a cap. Screws on the end of a garden hose. It works.

Worked perfectly fit nicely. No problems of any kind.

This product came on time. Unless you plan on driving a car over it, this plastic end cap is sturdy enough. Screws on easily and does not leak. Would recommend it.

I received the cap package on time and it works perfectly to cover the open end of the splitter and the garden hose when not in use. It keeps dirt out of the opening when not in use. I recommend these caps to cover openings when 'not-in-use'.
