LEGO Technic Mobile Crane 42108 Building Kit, A Super Model Crane to Build for Any Fan of Construction Toys, New 2020 (1,292 Pieces)

This is only my 2nd LEGO Technic set that I’ve ever built, the first one being the orange corvette. This set was fairly challenging to build, being new to the scene. It took me around 5 hours to build during 2 sessions. The crane seems to be very intricately designed and holds together quite well. I actually dropped it about 1 foot just a few minutes after completing it, and there was no damage at all. The crane functions well. It is capable of lifting at least 1 pound (2 iPhone 11 Pro Max’s) without very much bending. My only complaint is, the outriggers don’t add much side stability due to the fact that they don’t reach very far out. The controls are completely manual, which I would actually prefer for this particular set anyways. They are intuitive and labeled, as long as you sticker the correct pieces. The steering is controlled from the 2 orange lights on top of the crane, which is really nice. Over all, this was an absolute blast to build, and is very fun to play with. I feel like the price is more than fair for what you get. I can’t wait to build more Technic sets in the future.

All Lego kits are now boring for the simple reasons that they are expertly engineered, have sequential assembly instructions that make complete sense, provide clear and accurate illustrations and are not missing parts. The things I never take for granted with brick models. This crane is extremely cool and functional. My grandson is not quite 2 but he loves putting Duplo blocks together and I can’t wait to build these models with him in the coming years. Lego, please spend more time engineering 8:1 car models. The cheap knock-offs look cool but always disappoint. The Lamborghini Sian is truly a masterpiece and I proudly display it in my formal living room. Pride in workmanship should never go away. Lego is exceptional.

We purchased this Lego set for our 11 year olds birthday. His face lit up when he opened it. It took him and his 14 year old brother 1 day to put together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. They didn't need parental help at all. We are very pleased with this set. It is very sturdy. For us it was a stretch for a birthday budget but we received good value for our money. It is very well made.

This is an amazing model! This model is very interesting to assemble. I enjoyed it so much. Amazing time!

Excellent instructions. The operation exceptional.Treds were durable. No pieces missing. Our 6 year old grandson was a big participant, never becoming frustrated. He totally loves it and we will be adding to his collection. Proud of his focus to complete. We consider this buy an excellent product.

Great gift for 9yrs old boys. The excellent design and complexity is right for young kids. My son got this lego as his birthday gift. He loves it. He spent almost three nights to assemble it. The manual is as usual which has steps and steps instruction. After that, he showed how detail it is. I can see he really like it.

Great lego set, enjoyable to build and fun to play with. I had a missing piece, luckily not critical, and a few extra others as usual. I am going to try to contact Lego and see if they can send me the missing piece.

My 7 year old son loved this! He built it himself and is really taking care of it. He has not disassembled it (thank goodness) so if you want something that will keep them entertained for hours on end, and will mean not having to walk on lego pieces (ouch) then this is a great item for any kid!
