Q: i bought the 32ft lights but it doesn’t cover my room...do i have to buy another 32ft light to connect to the original light?

you can bought extra16.4ft or 32.8ft, it depends on the length you want for your room

Q: If the 32ft could not cover all the walls in my room, would it work to use a connector and buy the 16 ft version of the LED lights to finish it off?

I was able to connect the 32 ft strip to the 16 ft strip and I only have to use the control of the first strip to manipulate both sets of lights. See my comment on how to connect the two strips of lights.
