Perfect for dirty environments. I work indoors and outdoors in an aircraft maintenance environment. This notebook gets dropped in puddles, splashed with jet fuel, oil, TKS, mystery fluids, blood, etc. without any issues. The durability is top notch and the size is perfect for a shirt front pocket for quick access.I found out that a pressurized ballpoint pen works best on this type of paper, like the Uni Power tank 1.0.

These notebooks are top notch. I use mine to catalog shooting statistics in the field, like count of rounds fire down range between cleanings, scope adjustments and settings for my .22 so I can look up what worked in what conditions and distances and dial in my scope quickly, etc., and it works great for that. The size is excellent and fits into my small range bag or back pocket nicely. I picked up an official write in the rain fisher pen and it writes incredibly smooth on this paper. I also plan on using this for tracking hunting locations/gps coordinates when sighting and during hunting season.I cannot attest to the waterproof capabilities as I have not been out in the rain with it, but I have no reason to believe it would not perform admirably in those conditions.

Great to write in the rain. But it's a bit small.

I bought this to use as a hiking trail log book. The size is just what I was searching for and I love the minimalist look. I wanted something that would withstand the elements on the trail. I also bought the write in rain pen to accompany it so so matter if it is freezing cold or hot humid & raining I will be all set.

This is my 3rd Rite in the Rain notebook, and I love them. I travel for business, and we live in tiny spaces when on an airplane. I like to keep a personal notepad on me, besides my work notebook, to just jot down random thoughts, quotes, ideas, lists, etc. In conjunction with the Fisher Space Pen (any model), it's a go-anywhere notepad and pen that fits in the back pocket and can survive the elements. I still carry my first one as an adventure journal when I'm backpacking and camping. I never have to worry about getting it wet, and it's great to carry just in case I need to leave a trail of notes for a search and rescue team in an emergency. If it's raining, the paper won't disintegrate and the ink won't bleed.Check out the various models they offer. Lined pages, graph pages, and some other useful prints for people in different vocations or with different interests.

I love this notepad. I bought it so that I would always have a notepad whenever I had an idea for my book. It was always in my pocket, even at work where I can get very sweaty.After I bought it I ran into writers block for months, BUT a few weeks ago I was out and the block lifted. Since then I have filled up ALL but 15 pages with chapters. I give it 5 stars because I was able to write away when it was moist from sweat and I have had drinks spilled on it without any smears or losing ANY of my work.I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to have something to write an idea into no matter the circumstances.

This book survived Army basic combat training. We spent most of our time "in the field" outside in various ditches in the rain. Also we didn't have a lot of time to do laundry, so when you had the chance you throw your clothes in and guard your dryer. Needless to day given the short time you have to secure a washer and dryer... this book and the letters in it survived being washed quite a few times. The compact size allowed me to carry it in pockets which was incredibly helpful, my unit was not allowed to write letters... so I was able to sneak it out behind trees here and there (to stay in touch with my family).

Great notebook, fits in shirt pocket with an inch sticking out. Spine makes it tough to lay flat. I work around that by writing on the right side only, then when filled, flipping the entire notebook upside down and filling out the other side. Totally waterproof. I use a mechanical pencil, and that works best for me.

This thing is exactly as described and works perfect. Pocket sized, waterproof, and has great tables and measurement conversions on the inside cover.
